The Coalition's mission is to protect and restore watershed ecosystems across Massachusetts, in order to sustain healthy rivers, streams, lakes, water supplies, and terrestrial and aquatic habitats.

Formed in 1991, we work with state and federal agencies and citizen groups to create public-private partnerships.

Our three primary goals:
1. Strengthen the work and knowledge of community groups;
2. Raise public awareness of land and water management issues;
3. Improve policies and decisions affecting rivers and their watersheds.

At The Energy Resource Center, we help families make their homes energy efficient, thereby reducing monthly energy use, its cost and its toll on the environment. Our services include energy efficiency audits and weatherization upgrades such as window repair, duct insulation and HVAC (heating, ventilating and air-conditioning) work.

further, if you qualify for the Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) or Supplemental Security Income, you automatically qualify for free assistance from The Energy Resource Center. Visit our site for more qualification details.

Green Empowerment partners with rural communities and NGOs in developing countries to improve access to affordable and renewable energy, safe drinking water, sanitation systems, and fuel efficient cook stoves.

Combined with community organizing, these technologies enable individuals and families to dramatically improve their quality of life by reducing disease, improving developmental outcomes, and freeing up time to focus on income generation.

Green Drinks is mostly for people working on environmental issues, but anyone can come -- people from environment groups, business, government, academia and as individuals. There is no "us and them."

Come along and you'll be made welcome. Just say, "are you green?" and we will look after you and introduce you to whoever is there.

It's a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts.

Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organizing network.

Bark’s mission is to transform Mt. Hood National Forest into a place where natural processes prevail, where wildlife thrives and where local communities have a social, cultural, and economic investment in its restoration and preservation.

We prioritize grassroots organizing and believe in the power of an engaged public. We recognize that the forest should thrive not just to provide resources for the human community, but also for the inherent value of nature itself.

We conduct scientific research on public climate change knowledge, attitudes, policy preferences, and behavior at the global, national, and local scales.

We conduct scientific studies on public opinion and behavior; inform the decision-making of governments, media, companies, and advocates; educate the public about climate change; and help build public and political will for climate action.
