Support / Discussion

We at Austin Area Electric Vehicle Association are a group of people who gather to discuss electric vehicles, their construction, the technologies that make them work, and how we can further their continued re-introduction into central Texas. Please come to our meetings and see what we are all about.

We host the EV Tradin' Post Electric Vehicle Classified Ads, the web's best place to buy or sell an electric car: http://www.evtradinpost.com/

Several of us own EVs or have conversions in progress.

Cleantech San Diego is a member-based trade organization that positions the greater San Diego region as a global leader in the cleantech economy and smart cities movement.

As a nonprofit organization, we are uniquely suited to support the cleantech industry by fostering collaborations across the private-public-academic landscape, leading advocacy efforts to promote cleantech priorities, and encouraging investment in the San Diego region.

We are a water resources management utility that combines science and nature to clean water and return it to the Tualatin River, so it can be used again.

Our job is to maintain and improve the infrastructure, innovation and efficiency of our water resources to ensure quality of life throughout the Tualatin River Watershed.

We work in partnership with others to safeguard the river’s health and vitality, ensure the economic success of our region, and protect public health for more than 570,000 residents and businesses in urban Washington County.

We have tasked ourselves with the protection, enhancement, restoration, and – in urban areas – expansion of our shared natural environment.

This includes public advocacy at all governmental levels, outreach to all environmental organizations, public education at community events, and advocacy for and supervision of State of California mandated public coastal access and easements.

Increasingly, Mother Nature needs representation. Someone has to stand up for the environment when no one else will.

A Better City: Enhancing Boston

A Better City is a diverse group of business leaders united around a common goal — to enhance Boston and the region’s economic health, competitiveness, sustainability and quality of life.

With 130 member companies across multiple sectors, A Better City operates between the private and public sectors using technical expertise and research capabilities to shape key policies, projects and initiatives.

We now have three green programs:

"Miami-Dade Green" is part of the county's Office of Resilience, which collaborates both internally with County departments and externally with government agencies, universities, business groups, nonprofit organizations, and other stakeholders to effectively facilitate countywide resilience and environmental sustainability.

Our focus is to achieve aggressive water conservation, energy, climate change, and greenhouse gas reduction goals to sustain ourselves, our community and our natural resources.

The City of South Miami's Go Green Initiative promotes and encourages environmental responsibility in our community.

The City has launched a monumental green initiative, the Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program, that enables property owners to borrow money to buy solar panels, wind generators, insulation or shutters for their homes. The Green Corridor consists of the following municipalities: South Miami, Coral Gables, Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest, and Cutler Bay.

Women in Sustainable Energy (WISE) offers education, networking, professional development and leadership training for women (and men, too) at all stages of their clean energy careers and lives. WISE members and guests come together to be inspired, share ideas, enhance awareness and build competency.

Membership includes:
