BikeDenver – Group rides, urban commuter classes & more for better biking in Denver

BikeDenver’s mission is to provide all in Denver with the opportunity to bike safely and conveniently. We compile and share bike lane data to help improve street design and code enforcement, teach families how to get to school safely, help businesses add bike racks, hold regular Group Rides and teach Urban Commuter Classes.

GROUP RIDES start at different locations every Thursday and we take a “spin” around the city and find fun new places. Check out our Events page on Facebook to find out where we’re meeting this week: https://www.facebook.com/pg/bikedenver/events/

URBAN COMMUTER CLASSES cover such topics as choosing the right bike and gear, basic bicycle mechanics, and negotiating tough intersections. The classes take place at your work or meeting space and cover up to 15 students for $200.

SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL teaches families how to bike, walk and drive to school safely.

BIKEDENVER AMBASSADOR is a bike education and encouragement program to increase bike trips among people in the Five Points and Baker communities.

THINGS IN BIKE LANES DENVER is a program with Bicycle Colorado to help track bike lane obstructions to help improve street design and code enforcement.

Plus, the City of Denver provides bike racks for businesses that qualify, and BikeDenver can assist in submitting the necessary forms.
