Colorado Renewable Energy Society in Denver – Get Involved for Energy Change
The Denver Chapter of the Colorado Renewable Energy Society seeks to lead our city to an efficient renewable energy economy through education, policy, and economic development.
~ WHAT WE DO ~
EDUCATE with monthly programs, workshops, and forums in Denver and surrounding communities.
INFORM about local and community-driven energy issues, including climate change mitigation, through digital communications, outreach, and strategic partnerships.
INTERVENE for energy efficiency and renewable energy at the Public Utilities Commission and support Colorado clean energy legislation.
CONDUCT events and award conferences recognizing local sustainable design and renewable energy leaders.
ORGANIZE tours of sustainable energy homes and buildings in many Metro Denver communities.
~ GET INVOLVED ~
The Colorado Renewable Energy Society always welcomes volunteers to share our efforts and reap the personal rewards of doing good things for the global good. At the chapter level, we seek organization, facilitation, and technical assistance with meetings, events, marketing, social media, outreach, and more.
We’re a great avenue to meet energetic people, give back to your community, and network with people who care about the environment and renewable energy.
