The Miami Group of The Sierra Club
Our mission is to enjoy and protect the natural places in South Florida, to teach others to understand and respect the fragile environment in which we live, and to practice and promote the responsible use of South Florida's ecosystems and resources.
The fight to save Earth is never over. There are always new projects and proposals that threaten the delicate balance of nature.
Founded in 1972, The Sierra Club Miami Group today has over 2,500 members in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. We are all volunteers and there is always work to be done. We're looking for outreach coordinators, group leaders, nature writers, administrative help...
Now more than ever, we are living in a time where life as we know it may soon change unless regular people, like you and each of us, help rise to the challenge.
