"Before It’s Too Late" -- using art and technology to inspire people to fight Climate Change

We are Before It’s Too Late (BITL), a nonprofit initiative founded by MIT graduate students to leverage arts, technology and science to ignite urgency and collaboration toward addressing climate change.

BITL is running a first-of-its-kind Climate Action Prototyping Lab to rapidly implement and test concepts that can create social change. Inspired by think tanks and innovation labs, our center is differentiated by action-oriented community programs. We strive to find the tools that deliver results and partner with organizations to scale them.

We have partnered with MIT and Climate Interactive to develop and deliver the "World Energy Game" to high schools in South Florida. We also created “Miami Murals: Climate Awakening" - a bold project led by a team of local artists and technologists to create an augmented-reality mural campaign to bring climate change to life and incite climate action.

We have positioned ourselves at the forefront of media and edtech innovation to elicit maximal interactivity and engagement.

We are leveraging technology to empower the new generation of leaders.

We are partnering with artists to bring experiences to life.
