Groundwork Denver – helping lower-income neighborhoods with environmental issues and more
At Groundwork Denver, we partner with lower-income communities to improve the local environment and promote health and well-being. We plant trees, improve parks, clean up rivers, insulate houses, promote biking, grow food, and coordinate hundreds of volunteers to help!
We build bridges between residents, businesses and governments to achieve the common goal of positive environmental change.
We support the growth and development of leaders through our Green Team youth employment and leadership program.
We promote the inclusion of our communities in decision-making and action, and we advocate for equal access to a clean and healthy environment for everyone.
URBAN FARMS
Our Urban Farms program focuses on improving the connections between farm, table, food, and health. We do so by re-purposing otherwise unused space and taking advantage of modernized forms of produce growing through technology and hydroponics.
VOLUNTEER
We encourage you to participate in our programs by volunteering. We can host groups or individuals, interns or professionals.
DONATE
Groundwork Denver is an incredibly efficient organization. Over 95% of our funding goes directly to program services, with very little spent on administration and overhead.
