Metropolitan Planning Council - Shaping a more equitable, sustainable and prosperous Chicago region
Since 1934, the Metropolitan Planning Council (MPC) has made the Chicago region a better place by partnering with businesses, communities and governments to address environmental, planning and development challenges.

ROUNDTABLES
MPC's Roundtables are dynamic policy discussions with national experts. These lunchtime forums feature brief presentations from panelists that lead to engaging dialogues with attendees.
URBAN THINK & DRINK
MPC’s Urban Think & Drink provides a forum for discussion about the societal benefits of the built environment and enables a dialogue between residents and well-known thought and action leaders - including artists, authors, planners and designers. Events usually begin around 5PM.
These informal platforms allow us to debate and discuss how we make our urban environments livable and vibrant. All are open to the public, and usually take place every one or two months.
