Food Solutions New England - Transforming the New England Food System
Food Solutions New England (FSNE) is a regional, collaborative network organized around a single goal: to transform the New England food system into a resilient driver of racial equity and food justice, health, sustainable farming and fishing, and thriving communities.
We serve as a convener, cultivator, and champion of our regional food system:
Convener
FSNE brings together individuals and organizations to strengthen our regional food system. Our annual New England Food Summits are one example of this effort.
Cultivator
FSNE develops and curates ideas, resources, and connections that support new collaborations and actions. A New England Food Vision and our commitment to racial equity and food justice are examples.
Champion
FSNE lifts up and helps to connect the work of the many networks, organizations, and individuals dedicated to food system change in New England.
We believe that New England can be substantially food self-reliant, producing as much as 50% of the food we eat by 2060, all while developing new locally-owned food businesses – from rural to urban – with healthy working conditions and livable wages.
