Love Your Block offers mini-grants and neighborhood cleanups for beautification projects.

In 2015, the City of Boston kicked off the Love Your Block mini-grant program thanks to Cities of Service. Love Your Block will now be a permanent Boston program, including: mini-grants, neighborhood cleanups (formerly Boston Shines), and (eventually) community tool sheds.

As always, the Office of Civic Engagement continues to urge Bostonians to revitalize their neighborhoods, one block at a time.

Currently we're engaged in over 20 municipalities across San Diego County and Orange County.

The Miami-Dade Green Party, with its key values and national platform as guides, seeks to bring the hope and practice of local participatory democracy to our communities. We do this through information and education campaigns on issues of local concern, by working with local groups of citizen activists, and by running informed, honest and ethical candidates for local office.

The Ocean Beach Green Center (originally known as The Green Store) is a small, independently run resource center that has been in existence since Earth Day 1989. We have operated for over 32 years by utilizing our personal resources and with the support of family, friends, and others devoted to the cause of the environment and social justice movement.

Our Mission:

To provide information to the public on environmental, animal rights, peace and social justice issues so they can become better educated and become involved.

Boston Park Advocates

Welcome to the place where parks and politics meet!

The Boston Park Advocates is a network of park champions from across the city working to elevate the status of open space among candidates and policy makers.

Are you involved in a park-connected group? Little league, community garden, tennis, outdoor arts, CDC, crime watch, ultimate frisbee, youth, bike, fitness, and park friends groups sponsor the campaign to improve Boston’s parks and open spaces.
