Portland Harbor Community Coalition is a group of individuals and organizations representing the most-impacted groups (Native Americans, African-Americans, immigrants and houseless) in the billion dollar Willamette River Superfund cleanup.

Founded in 2012, our Mission is to raise the voices and build the capacities of local environmental justice communities, ensuring that these communities are able to influence the final outcome of the Portland Harbor Superfund cleanup process.

The Boston Area Sustainability Group’s mission is to break down the silos of knowledge within sustainability, to assist the perpetual education of ourselves and our peers, and to grow a robust community of subject matter experts equipped to collectively drive sustainability forward.

Tropical Audubon Society (TAS) is an environmental organization that endeavors to conserve and restore natural South Florida ecosystems, focusing on wildlife and its habitats, through advocacy and education for the benefit of biological diversity and humanity itself.

Ekar Farm is an urban, organic, community farm dedicated to alleviating hunger through sustainable agriculture and volunteer farming. We grow and give organic produce to local food pantries while providing experiential education to the community about sustainable agriculture practices and food justice.

The Department of Sustainability leads the implementation of the City’s Climate Action and promotes climate equity in City projects and outreach efforts.

In 2015, the City Council approved San Diego’s Climate Action Plan, which calls for the City to cut half of all greenhouse gas emissions by 2035. The Plan's strategies include 100 percent renewable electricity; water and energy efficiency; zero waste; bicycling, walking, transit and land use; and resiliency measures.
