The Miami Blue Chapter of the North American Butterfly Association is located in southeast Florida and named after one of our rarest butterflies. We promote butterfly habitat conservation, butterfly gardening, and education about butterflies.

Our chapter is working hard to meet the challenges of the 21st century as they apply to butterfly interests. Populations of Miami blue butterflies occurred in Bahia Honda State Park, the only easy-to-reach location where they could be found until 2010. Now, populations mainly exist in Key West National Wildlife Refuge.

EcoTech Visions is Miami’s first green incubator and makerspace. We assist entrepreneurs in creating, planning, and launching innovative and green manufacturing businesses in South Florida.

More than just workshops, we offer high-quality business resources, maker space, office and event space to support the development of the green economy. We're a true sustainable-business coworking, innovation and manufacturing space.

Our mission at Project Angel Heart is to deliver nutritious meals, at no cost, to those coping with life-threatening illnesses. Please help us supplement the produce we grow by donating your extra veggies or planting a special row, or by joining as a sustainability volunteer.

We seek freshly picked, pesticide-free tomatoes, zucchinis, yellow squashes, and greens such as chard, kale, collards, and mustard greens.

WalkDenver's goal is to make Denver the most walkable city in the country through policy advocacy, the collection of data for walking areas, demonstrations of pedestrian-friendly infrastructure, and the participation of people like you.

Our “Tactical Urbanism” projects engage community members in envisioning and designing temporary demonstrations of pedestrian-friendly infrastructure mixed with art, culture, pop-up businesses and street life.

At Ecology Action, our mission is to create a healthier environment in central Texas through resource recovery operations, brownfield remediation, and zero waste initiatives. You can visit our experiment in recycling contaminated and wasted land at Circle Acres.

CIRCLE ACRES

Circle Acres is Ecology Action's first experiment in recycling contaminated and wasted land into an ecological safe haven and a community resource.

We are environmental leaders, clean energy businesses, faith groups, neighborhood health and safety advocates and Massachusetts families fighting for our future. We believe our state and region can power forward with clean, affordable, reliable energy and a thriving economy. We have no other choice.

OUR VISION:
Massachusetts has emerged as a national leader on energy, making substantial progress in transitioning away from polluting sources of power to renewable energy and energy efficiency.

The Lurie Garden in Millennium Park is an urban oasis emerging from a harmonious blend of symbolism, landscape design and ecological sensitivity.

Our plant, animal, and insect life are managed using a combination of traditional gardening knowledge and forward-thinking ecological concepts. We use management practices rooted in natural-areas ecology, specifically the strategy of adaptive co-management. Use of synthetic chemicals or similar substances within the garden to manage weeds, pest insects or diseases does not occur.

Chicago Wilderness is a broad alliance of member organizations whose knowledge and expertise spans all facets of conservation. From invasive species removal and land regeneration to childhood education and volunteer action, our efforts significantly contribute to regional resiliency and economic vitality.
