Green Action

national

Earth Guardians is an emerging worldwide group of young activists stepping up to co-create the future we know is possible.

With youth at the forefront, we empower people as leaders and amplify their impact. We invite you to join us to protect the planet for future generations.

We mobilize via direct actions, councils and trainings, legal action and more.

Oregon State Parks Foundation

The Oregon State Parks Foundation is the only statewide non-profit partner of the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department dedicated to raising funds that will enhance and preserve the experience of using the 255 Oregon State Parks, now and for generations to come.

Since 1995, the Foundation has supported many vital projects such as restoring Vista House at Crown Point, helping to renovate five Oregon Lighthouses, preserving the Kam Wah Chung & Co Museum, and putting the first yurts in State Parks anywhere in the country.

Our mission is to create awareness about the plight of the environment, to educate the public about caring for our planet, humanity and the environment, to run recycling operations and to support environmental projects and programs locally and globally.

Some of our projects:

Collecting Used Clothes and Shoes
Through our green drop off bins we provide a convenient way for people in local communities to drop their unwanted clothes and other items.

Green Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides educators with learning models that connect science, technology, and math education with the broader human concerns of environmental, economic, and social systems.

GEF provides curriculum and resources to K-12 students and teachers worldwide with the goal of challenging them to think holistically and critically about global environmental concerns and solutions.

At The Resiliency Institute, we use permaculture education, growing food projects, and community engagement to build resilient communities.

WHAT WE DO

We offer courses in permaculture, herbalism, edible wild plants, homesteading, and more. Some courses are over the course of a year, others are evening courses or weekend hikes.

We host Permablitz events at our Growing Food Security edible forest gardens and potlucks on the farm to view films, swap seeds, or celebrate community.

The Massachusetts Climate Action Network (MCAN), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, fights the climate crisis one town at a time, with the help of local MCAN chapters – and you!

MCAN works collaboratively with our many chapters and other organizations to change and strengthen global warming policies in Massachusetts. And we send an electronic newsletter to thousands of members across the commonwealth.
