Colorado Aquaponics provides aquaponic classes and farm systems to take charge of local food security sustainably.

INSTALL YOUR OWN AQUAPONIC FARM

We offer a farm layout that fits into a standard 30 x 96’ greenhouse. The farm comes with all needed tanks, plumbing components, filtration and aeration parts, deep water culture troughs, media beds for fruiting crops and more.

WORKSHOPS

We alsomoffer four different workshops, from “Basics and Build” to “Flourish Farm - Aquaponics as a Business.”

HOW AQUAPONICS WORKS

Aquaponics recirculates water from a fish tank through a vegetable grow bed. Nutrients from the fish waste feed the plants, and the plants filter the water to keep the fish healthy.

ABOUT OUR FARM

Flourish Farms is a 3,200 sq ft aquaponics farm inside The GrowHaus, a non-profit urban market, food hub and education center located in a food desert community in Denver. The farm donates a portion of its produce and fish to provide fresh, healthy food to the residents of Elyria-Swansea.
