You like to eat natural, organic food and we like to farm and grow natural, organic food – so let’s work together! Blessing Falls LLC is a family farm located east of Austin that invites you to join our Farm Share / Community Supported Agriculture program, serving the greater Austin area.
COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE
“Community Supported Agriculture," or CSA, means farmers and supporters partner for the sake of healthy, nutritious food. Supporters share the farm's costs of production and, in return, receive part of the harvest. Costs and risks are shared and none of the harvest is wasted - it goes directly to members as soon as it is harvested.
At Blessing Falls, we focus on naturally raising vegetables, grass fed cattle, pastured pork, poultry and eggs.
We use no synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides in our gardens or on our animals. Our natural fertilizers include compost tea, fish hydrolysate (emulsion), molasses and Lady Bug brand fertilizer produced by a local Austin company.
With cover crops and natural mineral supplements, our pastures and gardens are improving the earth’s health and offering a sanctuary to earthworms, dung beetles and other members of the soil food web.
