The Clean Energy Investment Program was created to promote energy efficient or renewable energy (EE/RE) products and technologies in Florida by providing funding to businesses to increase the use of EE/RE technologies, equipment, and materials in the state.

Since inception, there have been nine commitments made totaling $32.5 million, and there were five active investments totaling $13 million as of June 2022.
