Grand Opportunity for Students: A $1,000 Scholarship in Climate Justice
09/01/21
Unstoppable climate activist Jamie Margolin — co-founder of the global movement Zero Hour — has endowed a $1,000 scholarship to support study, work and/or activism in the field of climate justice.
It's a splendid chance for a young climate warrior to support her/his good works and raise her/his profile in the climate community.
"Getting started and finding the resources to take action on the issues you care about can be overwhelming and exhausting," Margolin says. "I want to give students the resources to get started and be able to create what they envision."
The Scholarship is open to high school and college students enrolled in: a high school in the US; an accredited 2- or 4-year institution in the US, or a training or technical program. Wonderfully, undocumented students are eligible.
To apply, students must submit an essay of up to five hundred words on climate justice. For details march on over to: https://accessscholarships.com/climate-justice-scholarship
The application deadline is April 15, 2022 at 11:59pm EST.
