The first historic hotel to achieve Silver Level Green Seal Certification: San Diego’s legendary Hotel del Coronado
Established in 1888, San Diego’s legendary Hotel del Coronado is proud to be a pioneer in the sustainable hospitality movement. The Del became Green Seal certified on March 28, 2011, and in 2016 was the first historic hotel to achieve a Silver Level Green Seal Certification.
In accordance to Green Seal’s environmental management system, Hotel Del has made significant progress against the four pillars: climate change, waste, natural resources and health and well being – achieving higher stands of care and stewardship for the environment, while delivering exceptional guest service.
