Where to find Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) in or near San Diego?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a popular way for people to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farmer.

Here's how it works: a farmer offers "shares" to the public. Typically the share consists of a box of vegetables, but other farm products may be included. When you purchase a share (aka a "membership" or a "subscription"), in return you receive a box (bag, basket) of seasonal produce each week throughout the farming season.

This creates significant rewards for both the farmer and the consumer!
