San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative partners with academia to advance climate-change solutions
The San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative was established in 2011 as a network for public agencies to advance climate-change solutions. Partnering with academia, non-profit organizations, and business and community leaders, the Collaborative raises the profile of regional leadership, shares expertise, and leverages resources.
Our mission is to connect the region to advance climate-change solutions. By bringing people together, we envision a region that is prosperous and resilient with a commitment to maintaining a high quality of life, and fostering a green and growing economy with an equitable and unified approach. Together, we are prosperous and resilient.
We have programs in energy efficiency, coastal resilience, climate-smart water use, climate-action planning and others.
The Collaborative welcomes local and regional public agencies, 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and academic and research institutions as its core members. For-profit organizations can become working group members or sponsors.
Membership benefits include support in training, networking, communications and marketing, plus access to tools resources and more.
