Ralston Creek CoHousers – Forming a New Intentional Cohousing Community in Arvada

The Ralston Creek CoHousers are developing an exciting cohousing project in Arvada, just outside Denver, that fuses the best of intentional neighborhoods, healthy living, and green technology.

Cohousing choices range from studios to 2 bedroom condominiums. Our three-story, mixed-use building will contain a common area suitable for shared meals and activities, a shared outdoor courtyard to encourage gatherings, a community garden, and easy access to the Ralston Creek bike path.

Superior craftsmanship, tight standards regarding heating and cooling efficiency, and community will make our home comfortable, cozy, and kinder to the planet.

Five families have already committed to building our intentional community and we are seeking others to move the project to an architectural design stage.

When we have a core group of 12 or more families, decision making can begin on all aspects of community building and a projected timeline of 2 years to move-in will begin.

We have selected Geos as the perfect partner for our project. Geos is slated to be a net zero energy community where modern, clean architecture is paired with state of the art solar and geothermal energy.
