Harmony Village - A Cohousing Community Dedicated to Sustainability
Harmony Village is a cooperative neighborhood of diverse individuals sharing human resources within an ecologically responsible community setting.
Our energy-efficient, southwest-style homes are nestled in the Clear Creek valley on the edge of the Denver metropolitan area. Common facilities and open spaces provide a supremely pleasing setting for organic gardening, chatting with neighbors, playing in the shade of Cottonwood trees, and soaking up the Colorado ambiance.
Members participate in consensus decisions and are expected to:
• Attend all general meetings if possible (once per month for three hours)
• Actively participate in the governance of the community
• Actively participate in meal preparation and clean-up in proportion to the frequency with which they eat at community meals
• Contribute additional time and effort necessary for the community's general business
