Eco Child Care and Learning -- Little Green Tree House in West Loop, Lakeview & Lincoln Park

Little Green Tree House is a vibrant early-childhood center that serves children between 6 weeks and 5 years of age.

We provide high-quality care combined with a strong educational foundation and a focus on environmental consciousness.

From our organic meals to our rooftop garden, our various indoor play spaces and classrooms are filled with natural materials. Our teachers receive age-specific training, allowing them to effectively communicate each new developmental stage.

 In our building, special measures were taken to use recycled materials, as well as to conserve energy.
 All class furniture has been purchased through Community Playthings, which uses only FSC-certified maple in its products.
 We purchase toys that are PVC and BPA free.
 We use Green Guard Certified mattresses in our cribs with organic crib sheets, and organic cot sheets for the older children.
 All food comes from Gourmet Gorilla, which purchases from local organic farms.
 All food is served with stainless steel cups, plates, bowls and utensils.
 We use cloth diapers, which are sanitized and washed off-site by our diaper-service company.
 Children help in our organic rooftop gardens and learn about our compost bin.
