Reuse & Recycle School Supplies At SCARCE - Committed to Keeping "Stuff" out of the Landfill
SCARCE's Book Rescue and Tools For Schools programs divert books and other school & office supplies from landfills and provides them to schools, organizations & children in need.
We collect the following items and give them away to educators and non-profit organizations or get them recycled:
Books in any condition

School and Office Supplies
Writing Utensils
Art & Craft Supplies
Yarn
Crayons
Keys (household, luggage, car)
Musical Instruments
Holiday Lights
Bowling Balls
Cords (phone, computer)
Box Tops for Education
Buttons
Canning Equipment
American Flags
Brita and PUR Water Filters & Accessories
35 mm Film Canisters
Eyeglasses & Sunglasses
Hearing Aids
Medical Equipment
Plastic Bread Tags
Corks (natural cork only, no plastic)
Anyone can donate items to SCARCE. Please box the items and donate during business hours:
Mon- Fri: 9 am – 4:30 pm
2nd & 4th Saturdays of each month: 9 am -12:00 noon
