Senior Development Director

We run hard-hitting campaigns that are powered by generous donors: 85 percent of our funding comes from individuals. And those gifts are raised by a bold team of major gifts fundraisers, including our president, executive director, campaign leadership, and major gifts organizers. Your job will be to coordinate this major gifts team to its highest capacity, so that we’re reaching -- and blowing past -- our fundraising goals.

You will also assist the development director to make sure she achieves her goals in managing a successful development department. As with any successful fundraising program, our secret sauce lies in our ability to create and maintain solid relationships with the people who give money and take action with us to create a better world. You will be a key part of making sure those relationships are fostered beautifully.
Coordinating a set of very active staff to raise the kinds of funds we need to take on our campaigns requires someone with stellar people skills and a razor-sharp focus on details. You’ll be juggling a lot of balls. And if you’re the right person for the job, you’ll be the wind beneath the major gift team’s sails, and the anchor to keep it centered and focused
