At the Port of San Diego Bay, we take pride in being pro-active, environmental champions.
We push environmental education programs; we push restoration events; and we push community outreach that enables youth to effect change.

Our Environmental Education Program was developed as a pro-active way to educate students, teachers and community members about pollution prevention, environmental championship, healthy ecosystems, and natural resources connected with the San Diego Bay. We've already worked with some 500,000 students throughout the area.
Other programs include: I Love a Clean San Diego, the Living Coast Discovery Center, our Maritime Museum, and our Ocean Discovery Institute.
Further, we offer volunteer and internship opportunities to give you first-hand experience.
In fact, we're so dedicated to hands-on environmental education that we offer grants to marine science and environmental policy graduates along with potential work.
