The Good Food Catalyst wants to help your farm grow

The Good Food Catalyst is a Chicago-based non-profit committed to expanding the production, marketing and distribution of locally grown sustainable food. We’ve trained more than 12,500 farmers to grow their markets - and we can help you, too.

We seek to:
-build public and private partnerships that support the growth of regional food systems that benefit farmers, consumers and businesses.
-increase local and sustainable/organic food sales to create new jobs, sustainable economic development and rural revitalization.
-preserve our farmland through the development of high-value markets that give regional producers a fair price for their crops and encourage them to stay on their land.
-advocate for access to healthy and affordable food for all people and communities.

We operate the Good Food Business Accelerator, which is designed to stimulate entrepreneurship, and we’re currently developing the Incubator Without Walls, which will provide technical assistance and other guidance to entrepreneurs.

Our Good Food Festival & Conference, held annually, includes the Good Food Financing & Innovation Conference, Good Food Financing Fair, Good Food Industry Conference, a Food Policy Conference and networking opportunities.

DIRECT MARKET SUCCESS is our reference guide for farms selling in direct market venues such as farmers markets, CSAs and farm stands.
