Earn rebates for Water Conservation from Florida Water Star
Florida Water Star is a water-conservation certification program for new and existing homes and commercial developments. You can earn substantial rebates and other incentives if you qualify.
To apply for certification or just to update your home or business, following our program's guidelines can make it easy to save water resources. The program outlines standards for a broad range of homes — from a condominium with no yard to an older home on a half-acre lot with an aging irrigation system — and commercial properties and community developments. An independent inspector inspects each project prior to certification. An accredited professional can help to design the landscape or irrigation system.
We also offer training to educate building professionals about water-efficient appliances, irrigation systems and landscaping. Local government presentations are available upon request. Workshops on designing, building and certifying projects are offered throughout participating areas.
