KZ Architecture is a Miami-based full service architectural firm committed to design excellence and sustainable building practices. Our company offers ADVANCED SOLUTIONS IN SUSTAINABLE DESIGN, so our clients can select from a multitude of features to fit their specific needs.

We capitalize on passive sustainable practices that celebrate the South Florida climate. These include BUILDING ORIENTATION IN RESPONSE TO THE STRONG FLORIDA SUN, VENTILATED AND SHADED OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES, CROSS VENTILATION and NATURAL LIGHT THROUGHOUT.

Some of our strategies and goals include the optimization of energy consumption, the use of alternative energy sources, the reduction of potable water waste, the improvement of indoor air quality and the utilization of non/toxic and environmentally preferred products.

One of our projects – the West Broadview Residence in Bay Harbor Islands – was a pioneer for single family sustainable design and construction in the State of Florida, as it was the first house in South Florida to achieve Silver LEED Certification as well as Gold Certification from the FGBC in 2009.

Our design team is committed to executing the best sustainable practices and solutions for all of our projects. We follow third party guidelines, including LEED, FGBC, ENERGY STAR and LIVING BUILDING CHALLENGE.
