Mission Wear – Upcycled Hand Bags & More, Made By Disfavored Women
Mission Wear works with disfavored women to create upcycled products such as reusable shopping bags, totes and backpacks. We tackle two big social problems right here in Denver: women in destitution and plastic bag use.
Our bags are made of upcycled tires, banners, blue jeans, burlap and other reusable materials.
We train women with severe obstacles to employment in how to make our upcycled carry products, and then we sell those products in local retail stores, online and at farmers markets. We support those who want to take personal action to be more environmentally conscious.
