Green Gate Farms - Cultivating organic food, communities, and farmers
Green Gate Farms, a certified organic farm, was established in an under-served neighborhood in east Austin in 2006. We work with farmers and the community to support a sustainable, organic local-food system via community supported agriculture, our farm stand, consulting, and our educational New Farm Institute.
Community Supported Agriculture
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between farmers and the community. Our CSA members gain access to the best tasting, most nutritious local food possible in return for much needed financial stability. You can now join our CSA using SNAP!
Farm Stand
Get your certified organic vegetables, free-range meats (chicken, lamb, pork and beef), pastured eggs, edible and wildflower bouquets, honey, native seeds, herbs, milk, plants for your garden, and more.
Education
Our non-profit, the New Farm Institute, strives to educate, assist and inspire citizens and a new generation of sustainable farmers.
Farm Camp
Our farm camps are for children and adults who want to learn and participate in the inner workings of a certified organic, diversified farm.
